♟ The Traitors Ireland is more than TV drama ,it’s a live case study in emotional intelligence.🧐
This week’s round tables were fuelled by raw emotion:
⚡ Female faithfuls turning on each other, while the male traitors sat quietly back.
⚡ Faithfuls showing lack of self-control, constant interruptions, and little empathy for one another.
⚡ A striking contrast as Ben & Nick, traitors voted out their close friend Faye , both covering their faces and ears in a moment of shame and inner conflict.
What’s fascinating is how the traitors are using EI to their advantage:
✨ Active listening – Ben & Nick barely contributed, but absorbed every word.
✨ Composure & Self Control – holding back while others lost control.
✨ Empathy & perspective taking – tuning into body language and emotional signals.
Meanwhile, the faithfuls’ failure to read the room, the shame in Ben’s & Nick’s body language, the breakdown in listening, the lack of empathy led to two faithfuls being voted out incorrectly the past 2 nights.
In leadership, just like around the round table, the difference between being swayed by noise and seeing clearly often comes down to emotional intelligence.
